For over 30 years Congreso has consistently provided leadership in the development of community engaging projects. Eastern Northern Philadelphia Youth Services Coalition (ENPYS): An example of Congreso's Committment and Leadership.

The Eastern North Philadelphia Youth Services Coalition (ENPYSC) is a group of community-based organizations coordinating services to ensure that children and families have access to comprehensive critical resources, information, and support services.  Current members of the Coalition are Asociación de Músicos Latino Americanos (AMLA), ASPIRA, The Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations (Concilio), Congreso de Latinos Unidos, The Lighthouse, Norris Square Civic Association, Taller Puertorriqueño, Centro Nueva Creación, Centro Pedro Claver, Norris Square Neighborhood Project, Youth United for Change, Asociación de Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM), Nueva Esperanza, and Ceiba.

The mission of ENPYSC is to develop a seamless community approach to supportive services that will help children and youth in our community realize and materialize their full potential.  Unique to the approach of ENPYSC is serving each youth with respect to his/her individual needs, cultural background, and personal history while at the same time helping each individual develop a sense of personal and community pride and social consciousness.  The Coalition seeks to develop leadership qualities in youth and provide them with opportunities to lead their communities in creating positive social change for future generations.
