Youth Initiatives Manager

P/T Entrepreneurship After-School Activity Leader

Congreso de Latinos Unidos is seeking activity Leaders to be responsible for working with their supervisors to develop and implement entrepreneurship lesson plans for the Exito After-School Program at nearby Edison High School 5 days per week, 10-12 hours per week during the academic year. Program hours are 2:30-5:00 M-TH, and 2:00-4:00 Fridays. Lesson plans will follow the curriculum set out by the National Foundation of Teaching Entrepreneurship(NFTE) which emphasizes entrepreneurship basics, business plan creation, as well as how to start and operate one’s own small business. Activity Leaders are responsible for facilitating classes of approximately 15 students. Activity Leaders will also guide students as they create business plans that will be presented to members of the local academic, business and investment communities.
Requirements: Post-secondary education required; candidates may be in the process of pursuing a degree of higher education. Demonstrated commitment to working with children and youth a must. Bilingual (Spanish/ English) preferred. Familiar with entrepreneurship and business plan creation preferred.

Prevention Coordinator

Adult D&A Therapist

The Therapist provides clinical counseling to adult clients in the D&A program. Facilitate weekly group therapy. Provide individual and family therapy for people dealing with drug and alcohol issues. Coach, assist and pursue agency goals with all clients as appropriate, including education and employment goals and service integration, referring internally and externally as appropriate.

D&A Client Manager
