Data & Evaluation Coordinator 4/16/08
Data & Evaluation Coordinator (DEC) is primarily responsible for the support of measurement of outcome indicators, as well as the procedures and tools needed for each program to satisfactorily meet their goals and outcomes. The DEC also trains new staff on the usage of UNIDAD, a web-based database used to track demographics and measure outcome indicators. The DEC also customizes UNIDAD screens to meet the programs data collection needs. The DEC maintains and monitors the data collected on the web-based UNIDAD and prepares it for analysis. The DEC reports to the Manager of Data and Evaluation who reports to the VP of Quality Assurance.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; Experience in program research, development and evaluation, or direct service delivery in the nonprofit sector; Experience in developing and/or facilitating preferred; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent analytical skills; Excellent computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel and Access. Knowledge of MS-SQL and SPSS a plus. Knowledge of ETO software preferred.

Communications Associate 3/26/08
The Communications Associate will be directly supervised by the Marketing Manager. His/Her primary role will be to assist in communications relating to Congreso’s internal and external messaging, to include the realm of Civic Engagement. He/She will directly support Marketing and occasionally Civic engagement via administrative duties and specific ongoing projects and tasks, with additional support for large events. The Communications Associate must have familiarity and interest in new forms of media and current events. The Communications Associate must also present strong written and oral communications skills and demonstrate careful attention to details.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; Demonstrated excellent computer proficiency including MS Office; Experience with Quark, Macromedia Contribute, or related programs preferred; Experience with graphic design and website maintenance strongly preferred; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Research experience; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Driver’s license required
