Group Facilitator

Group Facilitators are responsible for working with their supervisors to develop and implement lesson plans for elementary or middle school aged youth. Lesson plans will concentrate on language arts, math, science, political science, health, arts, recreation, and life skills. In addition responsibilities also include facilitating classes, helping program participants with homework and supervising high school activity leaders.
Minimum Experience: 1-2 year of experience in developing and /or operating after school or summer programs for youth. Experience writing lesson plans. At least 2 years of experience in public speaking and group facilitation. Knowledge of the Latino community and resources within the community and in the city at large. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Minimum Education: Post-secondary education required; candidates may be in the progress of pursuing a degree of higher education.
