Director of Employee Relations
The Director of Employee Relations serves as the leader of employee benefits, engagement, performance management, compensation and the agency’s HRIS system. The Director of Employee Relations is the human resources leader of the implementation of agency initiatives that originate in Human Resources and are carried out agency wide. The position works as an internal coach to support employees while being the organizations human resources subject matter expert.
This position reports to the Chief Experience Officer. With the support of an HR Generalist, who reports to the Director of Employee Relations, is responsible for employee relations, support with recruitment/deployment, benefits and management of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Experience, Education, and Licensure
Minimum Experience: 5+ years leadership experience in overseeing the delivery of human resources functions and services in a professional setting; Experience in the delivery of employee-focused services in a non-profit setting is preferred; Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred and familiarity with urban communities.
Minimum Education: BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in human resources, risk management, or other related field of study.
SHRM certificate or equivalent preferred.
