Human Resources Generalist
Congreso is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join their HR team! This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources and will support Congreso’s150+ staff , work with outside vendors, provide HRIS support and ensure compliance of personnel records.

The Human Resources Generalist, under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources maintains and maximizes use of the human resources information system, ensures compliance of personnel records, serves as the departmental liaison to divisions & programs, oversees personnel audits, coordinates logistics for events and professional development activities within the department, participates in onboarding session, and promotes a positive employee experience within the organization by effectively leveraging internal and external resources to ensure efficiency and compliance in the transactional processes of the department.
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience. Experience with ensuring compliance and quality assurance in records and using data to inform decision making. Experience working in a dynamic, complex, multiple location/service organization. At least 2 years of experience in the delivery of employee-focused services in a non-profit setting is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in human resources, business, risk management or other related field of study preferred. Associates degree and/or demonstrated experience with 5+ years of experience in Human Resources working with information management systems, basic accounting, and/or compliance and quality assurance will be considered.
Certification/License: ADP or comparable database management experience required. High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Access. Experience with databases, online survey tools, and leveraging social media also a plus.
