Aftercare Program Managing Coordinator

The position of the Aftercare Program Managing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Aftercare Program and 4 Aftercare Client Managers. The Aftercare Program Managing Coordinator will work closely with the Aftercare Client Managers to ensure quality services for clients who are mothers along with their children who are leaving residential drug and alcohol treatment. Program services are provided to ensure that the children are stable and that the mothers have the means in which they can support the health, safety and well being of their children.
Requirements: Master degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health or related field; Minimum of 3-5 yrs. Exp. Providing direct services to individuals in the human services field; 1 yr of supervisory/management exp. preferred; Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; Knowledge of substance abuse and its impact; Knowledge about child-serving systems; Strong oral and written communication skills

Prevention Services Social Worker

Prevention Services Coordinator

The PSU Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of prevention services to youth in the program. She/He is responsible for staff supervision, recruitment and intake, client assessments, individual and family support groups, monthly reporting, and program planning. The coordinator will ultimately ensure that youth and their parents receive culturally competent services designed to reconnect them to the positive aspects of school and community.
Master degree in social work required; Five years experience providing direct social work counseling; Good oral and written communication skills; Computer literacy required; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Two years supervisory experience required.
