Junior Leaders Achievers (JLA)

 

 

Program Description

Provides weekly opportunity for youth to discuss issues relevant to young people using the guide of Arts and Humanities and activities such as spoken word, hip hop, dance, theatre, and art. Youth also participate in workshops geared towards developing their leadership skills. The program also incorporates guest speakers and field trips.

 

 

Eligibility

Youth ages 14 to 21 who have participated as Junior Servant Leaders in a Freedom School, or plan to participate.
