Program Title Latina Domestic Violence Program
 
Program Description The Latina Domestic Violence Program (LDVP) is a counseling and advocacy program for adult and child victims of domestic violence. The LDVP provides domestic violence prevention education to the community, professional and medical sectors.

Services include:
  • Individual and group counseling for adults and children who experience domestic violence
  • Assistance in accessing related legal services
  • Structural family therapy provided for families who have Medicaid insurance
  • Community education and RADAR trainings for medical professionals to learn to screen for domestic violence
  • Prevention education for youth through dating violence and anti-bullying education
 
Eligibility Women, men, and children who experience domestic violence, including friends and family members. Education services for community, professional and medical sectors. Walk-ins for emergencies or to schedule appointment. Crisis counseling provided through 24 hour hotline: 1-866-SAFE-014.
 
Location Congreso - 216 West Somerset Street, Philadelphia, PA 19133. Health clinics on an on-call basis, schools in Eastern North Philadelphia and other community sites as scheduled.
