Data & Evaluation Coordinator

Data & Evaluation Coordinator (DEC) is primarily responsible for the support of measurement of outcome indicators, as well as the procedures and tools needed for each program to satisfactorily meet their goals and outcomes. The DEC also trains new staff on the usage of UNIDAD, a web-based database used to track demographics and measure outcome indicators. The DEC also customizes UNIDAD screens to meet the programs data collection needs. The DEC maintains and monitors the data collected on the web-based UNIDAD and prepares it for analysis. The DEC reports to the Manager of Data and Evaluation who reports to the VP of Quality Assurance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; Experience in program research, development and evaluation, or direct service delivery in the nonprofit sector; Experience in developing and/or facilitating preferred; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent analytical skills; Excellent computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel and Access. Knowledge of MS-SQL and SPSS a plus. Knowledge of ETO software preferred.

Communications Associate

Service Learning Instructor

The Service Learning Instructor will work with high school students as part of the Youth Development Department team. The Summer Service Learning program is a 6 week program designated to involve youth in team-based projects that identify community needs and provide visible, active services to address them. This individual will develop an interactive and engaging curriculum on test taking strategies, Critical Reading, Writing and Math for junior and senior high school students. The purpose of this course is not only to prepare students for the exam in the spring, but to promote confidence in the students’ability to gain college access and achieve college success. The curriculum will be taught to 15 students. This part-time position is on Wednesday from 4 to 6:30 (7:30 for practice tests days) from November through June.
