Was elected Board Chair for Congreso de Latinos Unidos on January of 2017. A resident of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Ms. Neu recently retired from AmerisourceBergen Corporation after 34 years where she held several leadership positions – most recently as the vice president of community relations, diversity and workplace services. In this role, she was responsible for developing programs and strategies that enhanced the associate experience and workplace, and also promoted the company’s initiative to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment. Additionally, as the Executive Director of the AmerisourceBergen Foundation, ensured AmerisourceBergen created a sustainable presence within the community by partnering with non-profit organizations. Ms. Neu continues to remain active in her community, as chair of the board of directors for Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a nonprofit agency focused on education, health, employment and social services for the Latino community in Philadelphia. In addition, Ms. Neu and her husband, David, founded the David and Esperanza Neu Charitable Foundation to support causes related to health and education. In 2012, Ms. Neu was the recipient of the Most Powerful & Influential Women Award by the National Diversity Council and also received the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award. She is a Certified Compensation Professional and is a member of World at Work and the Penjerdel Employee Benefits & Compensation Association (PEBA). She also serves on the Advisory Board of the HBA, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. Additionally, Ms. Neu was the recipient of the 2012 Alumni of the Year Award from Strayer University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.
