For clients 17-21 years old who are looking for GED prep, students must sign up in person at our front desk at 2800 N. American Street. An orientation date will be given with our E3 Center.


  • Students must be at least 18 years of age to take the GED exam in Pennsylvania.
  • Students must bring a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, non-driver’s license, passport) and proof of Pennsylvania residency, if not stated on the ID, with them to the testing center. Testers that do not possess a valid photo ID will not be permitted to take their test.
  • Students must create an account on to take official GED test at Congreso's GED test center.
    • Please be aware that some GED tests do not include a scheduled break. Please come
      adequately prepared.

    • Be sure to arrive at least one half-hour before your scheduled test appointment.

    • Don’t forget to bring your valid photo ID with you, or you will not be permitted to test.
